We want our developers to be able to start using JDash right away so we've made JDash easy to download at any time. However, in order to deploy JDash apps for commercial projects you will need to purchase JDash.
All your questions, asked and answered. Need to know anything else? Just get in touch.
If you're setting up sites and developing custom applications for clients as contract jobs, you are allowed to do this under the Developer type licenses. Purchase a license for each developer which use JDash and publish to many customers.
If you have a product which you sell to different customers or SaaS solution you need an OEM license for each product/SaaS solution. License allows you to embed JDash into your software or hardware product or use JDash on your SaaS solution.
License allows JDash to be used with an unlimited number of SaaS projects, products, custom web applications, embedding JDash.Net into your all software and hardware products. We also provide source code of JDash with this licensing model.
Each individual working directly with JDash in an IDE (such as Visual Studio, Visual Web Developer Express or similar) is considered a developer. Each developer is granted the right to install and use JDash on workstations used by that developer for development purposes and to deploy JDash on unlimited domains, sub-domains and servers.
The JDash license includes a "Trial License" which will work unrestricted on http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1. Once uploaded to a web server, the framework will throw an 'Unlicensed' exception.
No functionality is disabled with the trial license.
Once your JDash license key is added to your application, the 'Unlicensed' message will be automatically removed.
A JDash license is required for all JDash enabled applications, both internally accessed (intranet) and externally accessed (internet).
